December Delights: Tips for Your Joyful Journey

 

As the last month of 2023 has begun, this little corner of mine is now 5-months old. It was never meant to be anything related to the commercial thing but only to reflect my magic hour moments which I intend to share with you all…like a regular catchup over the Coffee 



December’23 is the exact month to begin with all your goals, which you are pushing for January 01, 2024.This month can set a tone for your upcoming year ahead as you have initially started it now, all you need to do is carry out those habits/goals to January2024. I assure you this mindset will let you hang on to your habits more and you will be less likely ditching them by the 2nd week of 2024.

This week I will be sharing my most favorites which you can adapt/amend as per your goals or habits you need to initiate. Let us get into it:

 

Make Movement Your Priority

As a person who has recently adapted to this mantra with the help of a constant and continuous support of a treasured person of mine, I can promise, you will never regret it. It does wonder to your health, to your mental wellbeing, to your stamina, to your strength and the list goes on. Begin with moving your body in any form…be it your walk…your strength training…your cardio or your yoga. Just aim for 30-45 minutes dedicated to yourself only and watch yourself how it benefits you with each passing day!

 

Up Your Nutrition

As the focus is on you, feed yourself all the right things your body needs and thank me later. Always sit with all the balanced nutrients on your plate. Get friends with greens and rainbows. Make vitamins and calcium your best friend. Moreover, your meals should be well proportioned in contexts to Carbs, Proteins and Fats.

 

Unfriend The Sugar

This is the best advice I got from the one who is helping me to level up my journey towards the better health. In the beginning the craving hits hard, but if you deviate your mind from it and take it as challenge, you will ditch this habit for good. The added sugar does nothing but creates more craving, lethargy and upward trend in your weight. Leave it for good!

 Try to incorporate these little goals as a launching pad of your Version 2.0.  Watch this space for the upcoming ones.

  As half of the year 2024 is over and begining the next half year wave with a mixed bag of emotions. A thought just struck my mind Did I Choose Me? Well...to be honest I can't say it firmly if I did or not...but for the rest of the year we can. Promise yourself no matter what...no matter what phase we are in we will be our own first choice. Amidst all the chaos ...all the uncertainty promise to hang in there with yourself and your Creator. Trust on this He will not give up on you ever. If all seems bumpy and the road seems endlesly long hang on.... It will all get better...Your task is just to enjoy the time and look ahead to the better promising future.

It Will Be Worth It In The End

  So we have 5 months to end this year our way ...somewhere in the middle of summers from where we are going to transition into the Fall and our favorite BER- months( if you know you know) It is perfectly fine if you have not attained your goals yet as long as you have taken the initiative to begin from somewhere .And in case you have not begun it is the perfect time to begin. Do not give it second thoughts and begin  Pledge to choose the best for yourself. Don't take anything less for yourself and do not settle for bare minimum efforts . I strongly urge not even to settle for mishandling and abusing at the first step even. Stop the cycle and break the bond for yourself and for your sanity . It is the high time to choose yourself.Embrace yourself with the same love first which you expect to get from others. It will be worth it!

WELCOME HOME

 Pause... Just pause wherever you are right now.Whatever you are doing.Whatever your mind is racing towards...just pause and breathe. Come back to yourself.Yes...yourself...! All this time you have been running away from yourself trying to find solace in others existence and did you ever notice who got neglected in the end? You ....!  You were the most you needed all this time...when you were seeking external validations..ever wondered why? Because you were not ever healed... I don't know from what XYZ factor...you were never healed and running door to door to accept you to love you to call you home...but in the end it was always you who you needed to go back to. It doesn't matter how much time has passed or what your age is....healing yourself can happen any time. And NOW is the time...accept yourself with all your flaws and start pouring in to yourself all the love you have been seeking outside. Let Go and Let God... Welcome Home!
